I did not know Doug...but when I saw the name Laugero and read his tribute I knew right away he must be Judy's husband. I was Judy' s hairdresser years and years ago and although she may not remember me...I remember her! Someone so kind, so gentle, with such a sweet smile you just don't forget. What a beautiful depiction of true love and devotion. So sorry for the loss of the Laurgero family patriarch. God bless you Judy.

My condolences to Judy, Kevin and Amy, and the grandchildren.
Doug was the family business accountant, but was first and foremost a friend.
I learned so much from Doug, as a player, coach, and boardmember (I was a generation behind Doug) at Bel Passi Baseball, and later in life as a business owner (I inherited Doug as the business accountant when I bought my parents business).
He was very patient- teaching me basic business practices over and over again each year.
Doug and Judy are a shining example of a happily married couple (as we're my parents).
Judy - enjoy the kids, and even more the grandkids. You will find Doug in their smiles, in their eyes and in their laughs.
Much love to the entire family.

Doug was a natural leader and great athlete and I always had great respect for him. I enjoyed playing sports and serving on high school student council with him and any time we spent together. He was just really a fine guy, one of a kind.

Doug and I grew up together, our families being close friends that got together once a week to share dinner and local news. Our fathers worked together and our moms made sure we all made our families proud. Some of my fondest memories were when, after the meal, we kids (Stan, Doug, and I, and sometimes Shirley, if she was home, and my younger brother Dave) would stand by the piano for music time. I played piano, Stan the trumpet, Doug on his saxophone, and Dave still learning on his cornet, and we'd sing and play old songs together, our parents joining in with singing. It passed the time in fun and fellowship and was something I always looked forward to.
Doug never had a harsh word for anyone, smiling and laughing at our antics. He was shy and quiet, but I knew he was the real star in his family. His kindness and compassion were traits we could depend on, and I knew he would do great things in his community. There was only one Doug Laugero, and he is truly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I am originally from Hughson, and we played very competitive games with Escalon. We always had the highest respect for Doug and Stan. No matter the sport, the Laugeros were always bringing their best. We are sorry for your loss and will never forget Doug.

Although it's been many years since I've seen Doug, I have fond memories of him as our Senior Class president and Cougar Quarterback. He was kind to everyone and was calm and confident in the huddle. My deepest sympathy to Judy and family.

My condolences to Judy and the family. Doug was an amazing person and friend. He took me under his wing and taught me a lot about being a business advisor to clients. He also inspired me to give back to the community as he was always serving in various ways. He will be sorely missed.

My condolences to Doug's family. I have fond memories our time coaching at and serving on the Board of Directors of the Bel Passi youth baseball program.
Doug was a kind, generous, skilled and excellent coach who truly cared about the program and more importantly the youngsters who played for him. He not only taught them the fundamentals of baseball but also served as an example of good sportsmanship and respect for others. RIP my friend.

My condolences to you and ,Judy . You and Doug were the best neighbors. Doug & I served on the FDV Board. He always calmed me down and was a voice of reason. Very well respected. Kind of reminded me of Teddy Roosevelt-walk softly & carry a big stick . I saw the glimmer in his eyes when he spoke about his grandkids. He was humbly proud of his children . And his faith-very strong. He was a good man .
