Douglas Lee Norfleet, 62, of Nancy, Kentucky, formerly of Morehead, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, as the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Douglas was born on November 14, 1962, to Morris & Loistene (Tarter) Norfleet in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a 1980 Graduate of Breckenridge Training School in Morehead, KY. He was of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lora Lee (Wells) Norfleet; his children, Brandon Norfleet of Nashville, TN and Ashley Norfleet of Louisville, KY; his mother, Loistene Norfleet of Nancy, KY; and his aunt, Arrena Ard of Nancy, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Norfleet; his uncle, Nelson Ard; his father-in-law, Gary Wells; and his mother-in-law, Glenda (Snedegar) Wells.
A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jamey Epperson and Pastor Braxton King officiating.
Burial will follow at Norfleet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11AM until time for services.
