Ed W. Beaston, son of Charlie and Ethyl (Carpenter) Beaston was born on July 31, 1927 and passed from this life on March 2, 2025 in Cabot, Arkansas at the age of 97. Ed married Barbara Jane Adair on August 21, 1950 in Stilwell and they were blessed with over 67 years of marriage until her death in 2018. He and Barbara traveled and lived throughout Oklahoma following the construction business. They moved to Harrison, Arkansas in 1965, then moved to North Little Rock in 1966. In 1972, Ed, Barbara and Rick moved to Cabot, Arkansas where they remained until 1990 when they moved back to Stilwell. 

Ed enjoyed cattle ranching, gardening and was an avid animal lover, making pets out of deer, geese, squirrels and Racoons which he fed daily. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Ethyl (Carpenter) Beaston, his wife Barbara, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his sister Esther Stone of Ralston, Oklahoma, children Rebecca (Ronnie) of Hot Springs,Arkansas and Rick Beaston of Cabot, Arkansas. Two grandsons, Bob Riggle (Edith) of Charleston, South Carolina and Aaron (Devon) Riggle of Conway Arkansas. He had seven great grandchildren whom he loved very much. 

Graveside services will be Friday at 2pm at the Piney Cemetery in Stilwell. Visitation will be an hour prior to service.
