Eddy Rex Shackelford Obituary

He was born on July 19, 1957 in Birmingham, AL to Ralph Sr and Mary
Elizabeth (Liz) Shackelford.
Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr and Liz Shackelford;
his wife, Kay Shackelford; his son, Kody Shackelford; and his brother,
Ralph Shackelford Jr.
He is survived by his son, Wes Shackelford; his daughter-in-law, Casi
Vaughn; his grandchildren: Gracelynn, Rowan, and Silas Shackelford;
and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Eddy learned how to operate heavy equipment at a young age from his
father, Ralph Sr. These skills helped Eddy run his own business later on
for many years.
He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Eddy enjoyed
the outdoors, fishing, and riding around in his truck.
