Edgar's legacy also lives on through his nephew Jorge, and nieces Patricia, Mireya, and Monica, and he is remembered fondly by the extended family Galvan, Salazar, Yela, Holguin, Villacis, Morillo, Cedeno, Espinoza families. His life was predeceased by his brother Jorge Galvan, whose memory remained dear to him.
