Edith Altmiller Obituary

Born on September 24, 1943, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Tomasik) Tressler. Edith was a 1961 graduate of Bethlehem High School and went on to earn her degree from Bethlehem Business College in 1963.
She dedicated more than 27 years of service to the Salisbury Township School District. A faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Allentown, Edith was actively involved in many parish ministries and activities throughout the years.
She was married to the late Harold Altmiller, with whom she shared 44 years of loving marriage until his passing in 2008.
Edith will be dearly missed by her sons, Keith Altmiller and his wife Stacey, and Kevin Altmiller and his wife Mary Cay; and by her grandson, Justus Altmiller and his wife Katie.
Services: A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Our condolences to the entire Altmiller family. Growing up on Barner St it was a close knit block. We shared so many great memories . Couldn't have asked for better people to know.
