Edna Faye Harris, 82, of Bradford, IL passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Faye was born on July 20, 1942 in Princeton, IL the daughter of Estelle D. and Lilly F. (Taylor) Evans. She went to school in Princeton and later moved to Buda where she graduated in 1960. Faye married Philip H. Harris on October 27, 1968 in Bradford. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2023.

She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia (Lloyd) Harper of Kewanee, Pamela Harris of Bradford, Kimberley (Jeff) Simmons of Avondale, AZ; two sons, Robert (Cecillia) Singleton of Boise, ID and Denver Singleton of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Beth, Tabitha, Josh, Lindsey, Willie and Shane; five great-grandchildren, Paislee, Macie, Olivia, Jaelyn, and Zeke; one brother, Dean (Sally) Evans of Princeton; one sister, Diane Evans of Moundville, MO; along with many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Shiela, four brothers, Clyde, Carl, Donald and George, three sisters, Darlene, Linda and Mary Ann and several beloved in-laws.

She worked at Wal-Mart in Kewanee for 14 years starting as a baker and retiring as a cashier. She loved to crochet, tend to her flower gardens and yard work.

A special message to my adopted daughters and sons at Wal- Mart. Just remember I love each and everyone of you very much. I'll always remember you; and remember mom's watching you so have all the fun you can.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Bradford. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to National Breast Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
