Edward "Eddie" Brown, aged 56, passed away peacefully at his home on May 31, 2025. Born on January 15, 1969, in Bridgeton, NJ, Eddie was a man of great courage, selflessness, and humor, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.

Eddie grew up in Bridgeton, where he was known for his infectious laugh and generous spirit. He was the beloved son of the late Rosalee Hannah and Franklin Brown. Eddie's life was enriched by the love of his late wife, Jonell Brown, with whom he shared many joyful years. The legacy of their love continues through their son, Edward Colton Brown, who was Eddie's pride and joy.

Eddie was a cherished brother to Betty (Lewis) Reid, Tiny (Ray) Bayne, Keith Brown, Kathy Lovell, and the late Marion Lovell, Baby Brown, and Charles Brown. He was a fun-loving uncle to his nieces Misty Barr, Kelly Gordon, Kayla Brown, Stephanie Lewis, and Reachelle Kay, and to his nephews Justin Mulligan, James (Keith) Brown, Christopher Lewis, and Matthew Lovell. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he in theirs.

For many years, Eddie worked as a skilled welder, a profession that showcased his strong work ethic and attention to detail. His colleagues respected him for his dedication and camaraderie. Eddie was also an active member of his community, often volunteering his time and talents to various local associations.

Eddie's passions extended beyond his work. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of the water. His love for the sport was only matched by his enthusiasm for Carolina football, a pastime that brought him much excitement and happiness. Above all, Eddie cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Eddie's sense of humor and ability to bring laughter to any situation will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His courageous spirit and selfless nature have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

As we bid farewell to Eddie, we celebrate a life lived with passion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. Eddie's memory will be held in the hearts of his family and friends as a beacon of the joy and love he shared so freely. Rest in peace, dear Eddie. Your light will shine on in the stories, laughter, and love you've left behind.
