Eddie's life was enriched by the love of his late wife, Jonell Brown, with whom he shared many joyful years. The legacy of their love continues through their son, Edward Colton Brown, who was Eddie's pride and joy.

Eddie was a cherished brother to Betty (Lewis) Reid, Tiny (Ray) Bayne, Keith Brown, Kathy Lovell, and the late Marion Lovell, Baby Brown, and Charles Brown. He was a fun-loving uncle to his nieces Misty Barr, Kelly Gordon, Kayla Brown, Stephanie Lewis, and Reachelle Kay, and to his nephews Justin Mulligan, James (Keith) Brown, Christopher Lewis, and Matthew Lovell. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he in theirs.

For many years, Eddie worked as a skilled welder, a profession that showcased his strong work ethic and attention to detail. His colleagues respected him for his dedication and camaraderie.
