Edward R. Hinojos, Jr., "Eddie", passed away on July 1, 2025, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at West Funeral Home. On Thursday, July 10, 2025, a rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church followed by the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with the burial to follow at Carlsbad Cemetery (New Section). A meal will be provided after services at the Fellowship Hall.
On July 15, 1994, Edward R. was born to Edward and Patsy Hinojos, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
He enjoyed wrestling and cooking, but above all, he loved spending time with his nieces, his family and hanging out with his friends. He was a very open-minded person, with such a huge heart. He was also known to be a conversationalist.
He is preceded in death by Grandpa Joe McCormack, his brother Elijah Hinojos, his cousin Megan J. Boydston, and his uncle Frank Rodriguez.
He is survived by his parents Edward and Patsy Hinojos, his sisters Elaine Granger, Edelynn Manriquez and husband Nemecio Manriquez Jr., and Emily Hinojos, his brother Esiah Hinojos and partner Marianne. His nieces E'lyiah, Ylianna, Emilia Manriquez, and Amari Hinojos, his nephew Ayden Granger.
Pallbearers are Nemecio Manriquez Jr., Esiah Hinojos, Michael Ray Munoz, George Munoz, Harley Munoz, Juan Moreno.
