Edwin Alarcon Obituary

Edwin James Alarcon, known affectionately as Edwin by his family and friends, passed away on May 7, 2025, at the tender age of four, just about to turn five. Born on May 15, 2020, in Loma Linda, California, Edwin was a bright light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
From the outset, Edwin was a beacon of joy and courage. Despite his brief time on this earth, he left an indelible mark on those around him. He was the cherished son of Stephanie Estrada; the adored younger brother of Joseph, Adalina, and Raul; and the beloved grandson of Rosa and Augustin Alarcon, Maria Cervantes and Hilario Cuvias, and Jose Estrada. Edwin's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he embraced every moment with them with open arms and an infectious smile.
Edwin's love for life was evident in his everyday activities. He was an eager student who delighted in learning new things at school. His curiosity was endless, and his bright eyes reflected his zest for knowledge and understanding of the world around him. Music was another of Edwin's passions. His family fondly remembers his enthusiasm for music, which was apparent in his impromptu dance performances that could light up any room.
Playtime with his siblings was when Edwin's spirited nature shone brightest. He was the center of laughter and fun, and his courageous approach to life's adventures made him a joy to be around. His siblings found in him not just a brother, but a playmate who could transform the simplest moments into cherished memories.
