Elaine P. Klingler, age 88, long-time resident of Delran, NJ, passed peacefully at her home on July 20, 2025.
Elaine was born in 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Helen and Irvin Headman, moving to New Jersey as a child. She graduated from Palmyra High School and after marrying her husband, Harold P. Klinger and starting their family, they moved to their home in Delran, NJ where she lived for 58 years.
Elaine worked part-time for many years in the Admissions Office at Zurbrugg Hospital in Riverside, NJ. She was devoted to her family and took great care in raising her children. Elaine was a skilled knitter who was known for the many beautiful blankets she made for family and friends over the years. She enjoyed using her iPad to keep up with current events, browse Facebook and play solitaire. Elaine also enjoyed the annual family vacations to Long Beach Island.
Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold P. Klingler, and their son, Kenneth Klingler. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wasco (the late Rick Wasco); son, Bill Klingler (Sherie); stepson, Paul Klingler (the late Debbie); and daughter-in-law, Raquel Klingler. Elaine is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Klingler, Tim Wasco (Allie), Mike Wasco (Crystal), Logan Klingler and Julie Klingler, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Ava, Carter and Max Wasco.
In keeping with Elaine's wishes, funeral services will be private. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, please consider donations in her memory to the Dementia Caregivers Support Group at Alzheimer's New Jersey https://www.alznj.org/make-a-tribute/
