Passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 after a brief illness at the age of 66. She was born on November 21, 1958 in Montour Falls, NY to the late Lawrence and Genevieve Ennis. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Howard Ennis and daughter Tammy Mazariegos,
Liz is survived by her loving husband of 10 and a half years, George J. Walter of Horseheads, NY; son Jeremiah Perez of Horseheads, NY and daughter Tina Perez of Odessa, NY; grandchildren Devon, Elicia, and Angelo; sisters-in-law Kim (Larry) Impson of Horseheads, NY and Melanie Kaminski and Rise Walter of Rockledge, FL; her beloved dog Jake and numerous extended family members and friends.
Liz worked as a healthcare worker and supervisor at The Falls Home in Montour Falls for many years, and later at Schuyler ARC as a caregiver. She was a very active member of the Horseheads American Legion, and loved playing euchre and trivia. She loved helping and caring for other people, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.
The family will welcome relatives and friends to Liz's Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 14th, from 5-9pm at Sonny's Bar Grille, 49 Level Acres Drive, Horseheads, NY, 14845. Those wishing to remember Liz, please consider making a donation to the Arctic League in her memory.
