Elizabeth A. Kulow, 80, of North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Port Washington on November 12, 1944, the daughter of Joseph and Gene (Tyson) Nelson. On September 28, 1963, Elizabeth married John Kulow at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac.
Elizabeth was a member of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, North Fond du Lac. She spent many years working as a LPN. Elizabeth volunteered as an EMT with the Village of North Fond du Lac and was active with the Girl Scouts. She was co-owner of the Village Beverage Mart and Village Pub with her husband for many years. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoyed reading, crocheting, doing puzzles, and was an avid cake decorator. Her greatest love was spending her time with family.
Survivors include her three daughters, Jackie (Scott) Baccus, Tammy Kulow, and Julie (Pete) Punzel; four grandchildren, Tim Baccus, Mike (Jenny) Baccus, Nick Punzel (Alicia Anderson), and Ben Punzel (Evian Ortiz); two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Ethan Baccus; four siblings, Mary Nelson, Phyllis Mattson, Joe (Sue) Nelson, and Ann (Walt) Sinisi; three sisters-in-law, Peggy, Cathi, and Joann (Tom); brother-in-law, David; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gene; husband, John; and sister, Sharon Nelson.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 705 Michigan Ave., North Fond du Lac, 54937. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial in St. Charles Cemetery will follow the Mass.
