Elizabeth Manewal Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Manewal, age 86, of Marceline, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center. Elizabeth was born on February 5, 1939, in Marceline, Missouri, the daughter of Roy Linebaugh and Florence (Billups) Linebaugh. A lifelong resident of Marceline, she graduated from Marceline High School with the Class of 1957. Elizabeth cherished time spent with her family and Jack, and found great joy in music-often playing the guitar and piano. She was a devoted member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, where her faith remained an important part of her life. Elizabeth is survived by her two children: Ed Manewal and his wife Lana of North Carolina, and Fran Foster and her special friend Mark Taylor of Marceline, Missouri; five grandchildren: Daniel (Erica) Foster of Marceline, Amy (Noe) Taylor of Kansas City, Rocky Owen of North Carolina, and Erica (Andy) Locklear of North Carolina; twelve great-grandchildren: Raelayn, Bennett, Quinley, Tyra, Devon, Pheobe, Zoe, Schyler, Hunter, Jace, Gage, and Shenandoah; and two great-great-grandchildren: Dezilyn and Corayah. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley (Bill) Smith of Mendon, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Linebaugh; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Laverne Linebaugh; her sister, Marge Moore; and the love of her life, Jack Schiltz. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Marceline, Missouri, with Father Pascal officiating.
