Elnora Culclager Obituary

Mrs. Elnora Moore Culclager, a cherished matriarch and lifelong resident of Wabbaseka, Arkansas, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Wabbaseka to the late Junius Moore, Sr. and the late Mae Eliza Williams Moore, she was deeply rooted in faith, family, and service.
She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Shade Culclager, Sr. and her loving children: Shirley Wesley, Margaret Wilson, Larry Culclager, George Moore, Fred Duncan Culclager, Claudie Mae Culclager and Arthur Lee Culclager.
Mrs. Culclager life was a shining example of strength, love, and generosity. She leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving children: Jesse L. Culclager, Sr. (Altheimer, AR), Bishop Shade Culclager, Jr. (Pine Bluff, AR), Billy Ray Culclager, Sr. (Pine Bluff, AR), Maurice D. Culclager, Sr. (Pine Bluff, AR), Lillie B. Hunter (Pine Bluff, AR), Annie C. Higgins (Wabbaseka, AR), Linda D. Strickland (Altheimer, AR), and Jacquelyn D. Culclager (Pine Bluff, AR).
She is also survived by one brother, Frankie Moore (Chicago, IL); four sisters: Lerlean Kelley (Altheimer, AR), Alice Mae Culclager (Pine Bluff, AR), Arie V. Moore (Chicago, IL), and Leoma Moore (Chicago, IL); along with a vast and loving family that includes 71 grandchildren, 190 great-grandchildren, 74 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, Wabbaseka, AR.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025, also at Second Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Paul Manning officiating. Mrs. Culclager will lie in state from 9:15 a.m. until the start of the service. Final resting place will be at Wabbaseka Community Cemetery, under the care of Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.
Her life was a blessing. Her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
