Elva L. Storch, age 80, of Stetsonville entered her heavenly home Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Stetsonville Pastor Richard Russow will officiate. Family and friends are welcome for visitation at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. The Maurina- Schilling Funeral Homes is entrusted with the arrangements.

Elva was born March 21, 1945 in Medford, the daughter of Herbert and Edna (Engelke) Zuleger. She was a graduate of Medford High School, and then attended Taylor County Teacher College. She worked as a Social Worker for 28 years in Taylor County. Elva was united in marriage to Gerald Storch December 20, 1969 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Medford.

Elva will be remembered as a vivacious, loving, and deeply dedicated woman. She had a spark-an energy that illuminated every space she entered. Her laughter was contagious, her warmth enveloping, and her compassion boundless. Elva was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church and took pride in decorating the altar throughout the church year. Elva has a great passion for her Mustang and gardening lilies.

Above all, Elva loved and cherished her time with family, especially her grandson. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Elva is survived by her son: Jared (Heather) Storch; one grandson: Garett (Emily Schafer) Storch. She is further survived by two sisters: Gloria Dittrich and Marvel (James) Lemke; one niece: Angela Dittrich; one nephew: Justin (Celia) Lemke and one great nephew: Cameron Lemke

She is preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Edna; and her husband: Gerald, April 20, 2012.
