Eric was born June 24, 1976 in Gulfport, Mississippi to the late Mae Lois Lee Thomas and James Thomas.
Eric received his former education from Harrison County School district later receiving his GED.
Weather working at the Tyson Chicken Plant, washing cars at the local dealership, or traveling to work in restaurants, no job was ever too big or too small for him. If opportunity meant providing for his family, Eric never hesitated. His dedication, hard work, and unwavering love for his loved ones were at the core of everything he did.
Eric was an artist who loved to read, fish, cook and enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephews, entertaining family and friends by telling jokes, playing cards and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mae Lois Thomas, and his brother, Warren Todd Johnson.
Eric is survived by his wife, Shalae Thomas; his sister, Tammy Johnson and his father, James Thomas.
