Erika Marie Hickman, 41, of Danville, formerly of Potomac, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Twin Lakes Extended Care, in Paris, after a brief illness.
She was born on January 6, 1984, in Urbana, the daughter of Larry and Georgene (Sarver) Hickman. She is survived by her parents; brother- Bryan (Jennifer) Hickman of Sugarland, TX; sister- Whitney Hickman of Potomac; three nephews- Ethan and Logan Hickman and Alec Lawless; two aunts- Marsha (Ron) Lewis of Hoopeston and Anita (Chris) Roby of Pecatonica, IL; and two uncles- Tom (Sherrie) Sarver of Browntown, WI and Wilbur Hickman of Potomac.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents- Wilbur M. and Frances (Shouse) Hickman and Gene and Mavis (Canter) Sarver.
Erika attended Danville High School and graduated in 2003. She attended Crosspoint Services, in Danville, for 20 years and lived at Blue Ridge Cila, in Danville, for over 20 years, where she enjoyed her time there with her friends. Erika was a huge music fan and loved listening to country music and Sesame Street songs. She also enjoyed car rides and eating food.
Cremation rites will be arranged. A private family service will be held at a later date and burial will follow in the Potomac Cemetery.
