Erlihda Etse
age 56, of Park Falls, died on Wednesday June 18, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on January 1, 1969, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, the daughter of Manuel and Liwiana (Nedlic) Tihpen. Her early life and schooling were in Pohnpei. She married Benster Etse and together they shared 20+ years of marriage. She loved to be with her family and take selfies on her phone if she's bored. She wanted nothing but the best for her children. Erlihda came to the states in 2022 to visit her children in Iowa. She moved to Wisconsin in February 2025. She was a loving mom, sister, and the best grandmother to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Sumihda (Charles Henly) Etse, Benster (Marmelynn Eliam) Etse, Mihna (Vimorto Santiago) Etse, Gaithlyn (Jesse William) Etse, (4)grandchildren; K-Ben Etse, Elisha-Benz King Etse, J-Ben Etse, Ju'Mar Liam Prince Etse, (11)siblings, and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and (5)siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday July 12, 2025, at Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the hour of the service on Saturday July 12, 2025, opkat the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Pohnpei, Micronesia at a later date.
