He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ray Brooks, SR.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughter, Tiffany Emery, son, Jacob and wife, Samantha Brooks, grandchildren, Tanner, Toby, Tara, Alayna, Zephaniah, Zachariah, and Jeremiah. One brother, Daniel Brooks and wife, Leah, one nephew, Marcus, his mother, Helen Brooks, and one great granddaughter, Cleo.
