Esmeralda Trevino, 76, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1949, in Beeville, Texas, to Ysidro and Eloisa M. Benitez. She attended A.C. Jones High School and worked as a nanny for 39 years. Esmeralda was married to Antonio V. Trevino for 57 years. She was a faithful and loyal servant of God. Esmeralda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Esmeralda is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ysidro and Eloisa M. Benitez, and her cherished sisters, Rafela Cuevas and Estella Benitez Rojas.
Esmeralda is survived by her loving husband, Antonio V. Trevino, and her two daughters, Diana (Fabian Pacheco) Trevino and Dena (Lee) Hernandez. Also surviving Esmeralda are her three sisters, Delia Madrigal, Santos (Joe) Suniga, and Marcella (Cruz) Guerrero, her brother-in-law, Porfidio Rojas, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Saturday, July 19, 2025. A Visitation will be held from 9:00am - 11:00am with the Chapel Service to be held by Pastor Joel Serna at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Anthony Gonzales, Arnold Ponce Jr. Cristobal Connor Cantu, Mindy Carmela DeLaCruz, Shelly Lorenza DeLaCruz, and Samantha Esmeralda Stillman. Honorary pallbearers will be Damien Thomas DeLaCruz, Emily Pacheco, and Fayth Nevaeh Banda.
In honor of Esmeralda's life and her impact on those around her, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the beautiful soul we were privileged to know and love.
