Esther Jean Thacker, 59, of Blountville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol. Esther loved to be the life of the party. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Esther loved taking care of her family and her animals.
Ms. Thacker was preceded in death by her mother, Annis Miller; brother, Eddie Tate and a granddaughter, Riley Tate.
Those left to cherish her memory are: daughter, Kimber Thacker and wife, Carstyn Wrobleski; two sons, Dustin Tate and Jeremy Tate; three grandchildren, Kirsten Tate, Devin Tate, and Zoey Tate; her father, Hal Miller; three sisters, Kim Issaic and husband, Tim, Deanna Addington and husband, Anthony, and Jackie Clawson and husband, Pat; two brothers, David Tate and wife, Renee and Steve Miller; and, several nieces and nephews.
An inurnment service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in the Garden of Solomon, located at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville, Tennessee.
