Rhonda Carol (Bowman) Moore, 66, of Searcy went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. She was born Sept. 18, 1959, in Blytheville, Ark. Rhonda was a homemaker, and a very good one at that. She diligently cared for her home, her family as well as numerous other children through the years. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. Rhonda was put on this earth to care for children; and she did that quite well. She was a very gentle, sweet and loving soul but also a great protector of those she loved. Rhonda enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardening and was a member of the Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Moore; children, Tyler Neal, Alexandra Neal Bunn (Alex) and Sasha Moore; stepsons, Aaron Moore and Joshua Moore; her mother, Fran Bowman; siblings, Danita Cheryl Fiscus (Al), Tony Bowman (Jona) and Jana Bowman (Diann); grandchildren, Emma Bunn and Madeline Bunn; nieces and nephews, Clayton Fiscus, Savannah Summitt, James Fiscus, Nikki Bowman Frazier and Will Bowman; sisters-in-law, Cathy Manning and Carol Lindsey; and niece, Mindy Keith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Bowman, and her grandparents, Goldie and Luther Parks and Otis and Mildred Bowman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy with Bro. James Hays officiating. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1 p.m. In Rhonda's honor, attendees are asked to wear blue (her favorite color) if possible. Interment will follow in the Weir Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House or Valley Baptist Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.

The short time I got to spend with Rhonda and her family was a blessing to me. Her captivating smile was the first thing I noticed about her. She was truly a caregiver of her family and others, loving unconditionally. She spread kindness wherever she went. Prayers for the family.
