Felipe was an outgoing person who often left an impression on those he interacted with. He was a member of Cursillo, Freemasonry, and Batangas Association. He loved watching football, watching martial arts and action movies, The Filipino Channel, and local news. He also enjoyed playing cards, mahjong, and bingo, as well as reading books, and traveled frequently to the Philippines.
