Fermin Reyes Obituary

Fermin Javiel Reyes, age 39, of Texico, NM passed away Thursday July 10, 2025, at his home in Texico. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Muffley Funeral Home, 1430 N Thornton Street, Clovis, NM from 1:00PM to 6:00PM. A rosary will be recited Tuesday July 15, 2025, at San Jose Catholic Church 216 Anderson St, Texico, NM, at 10:00AM. Mass of the Christian Burial to follow at 10:30AM at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Eli Valadez officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Terrace Cemetery in Farwell, TX.
Fermin was born to Rafael Reyes and to Elizabeth Castillo on August 14, 1985, in Clovis, NM. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan and enjoyed sports. Fermin loved to play his accordion, bass guitar and listening to music. He especially loved his children and family.
Survivors include four children: Abigail Reyes of Marana, AZ, Christopher Reyes of Texico, NM, Adam Reyes and David Reyes both of Clovis, NM, step-mother: Esther Reyes of Farwell, TX mother: Elizabeth Castillo of Clovis, NM, three brothers: Fabin Reyes and Adrian Reyes both of Farwell, TX, Daniel Reyes of Ft Sumner, NM and a sister: Brianna Reyes of Canyon, TX, one granddaughter: Alaia Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his father: Rafeal Reyes.
