Flora Mae Stockton, lovingly known as Nana, was born January 7, 1936 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to Frank Henry Tuttle and Loreta Helen (Miller) Tuttle. She married Curtis Oliver Stockton, he passed away April 29, 2005 after nearly 52 years of marriage. In 1978 Flora & her husband moved to Amarillo & founded Trinity Fellowship Church. In 2001 they moved back to Lubbock to be near family & friends. She helped her husband at their store at the Direct Mattress Company. Flora enjoyed playing dominos and was the founding member of "Old Lady Dominos" club and was a champion at putting puzzles together. She enjoyed cooking, making the best Banana Pudding and her wonderful dish of Chicken Spectacular. Flora was a member of Generations Church.
Flora went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the age of 89 years, 5 months, & 7 days. Her parents, husband: Curtis Stockton, and 4 sisters: Nora Morris (twin sister), Marie Scott, Ruth Rockey, & Claudia Marberry were all waiting for her at Heaven's gate.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son: Danny Stockton & wife Marce, daughter: Donna Hill & husband Steve, 4 grandsons: Chad Hill (Amanda), Jeremy Hill (Kristi), Brian Stockton, & Rusty Stockton (Meagan), 4 great-granddaughters: Taylor Rowan (Caleb), Averi Hill, Sydney Hill, & Allie Stockton, 4 great-grandsons: Connor Hill, Logan Hill, Dane Stockton, & Colin Hill, her great-great-granddaughter: Norah Grace Rowan, along with her brother: Clifford Tuttle & wife Judy.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday June 17, 2025 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 10:00am Wednesday June 18. 2025 in the same chapel with Pastor Ed Ainsworth of Generations Church officiating. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery in Wolfforth under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
