Florence Kilkus Obituary
August 14, 1925 - July 8, 2024
Florence Zablock Kilkus, age 98 of Hillside, IL, passed away on July 8, 2024 going out on her own terms. She was strong, passionate, and dedicated to her family and her friends until the end. She excelled as a homemaker but also enjoyed working at Carson, Pirie, Scott for close to 20 years. She loved her music, dancing, and an occasional martini (gin preferred).
Florence was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a long time parishioner at St. Domitilla Church. She is survived by her children, Joan (Stanley), Philip (Susan), Barbara (Arlene) and Bruce; Loving grandmother to Elizabeth (Nathan), Katharine (Jon), Michael, Carolyn (Jayson), Gregory and Brent. Great Grandmother of Audrey, Mallory, Hank, Mable, Birdie and Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent, her brothers Ernest and Robert; parents Charlotte and Peter Zablock.
A celebration of life will take place at a future date. We appreciate all of the kind and wonderful comments we have received.
