Fonzie Fitzwater Obituary

Fonzie Fitzwater, 89, of Dawson passed away at his home on Monday morning, July 14, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 24, 1935 at Meadow Bridge; he was the son of the late Alfred Morgan Fitzwater and Emma Edith Patterson Fitzwater.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lee Fitzwater; great grandson, Aidan Neupert; brothers, Lowell, Jim, Alfred, John and David Fitzwater; sisters, Genieve Lamb, Gathalee Allen and Caroline Jones.
He was a member of the Lick Creek Baptist Church and a coal miner.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Myrtle Thompson Fitzwater; daughter, Linda (Dwayne) Osborne; sons, Steve (Lori) Fitzwater and John Fitzwater; 3 grandchildren, Carissa Osborne, Samantha Osborne; Fonzie Steele Fitzwater; 4 great grandchildren; a special niece, Cindy Stevens; one sister, Donna Bowen.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no service at this time.
