Seneca, South Carolina
Forde Reily McIver, age 20, passed away on July 7, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born on August 10, 2004, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, he was the son of Forde "Trey" A. McIver, III (Megan Bodemuller) and Amanda Lee Crider Melton. A 2022 graduate of Seneca High School, Reily was employed as a mechanical technician at Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge, where he was known for his skill, drive, and commitment.
Reily had a deep passion for cars, motorcycles, racing, and people. Whether it was dirt track or street racing, he embraced the thrill with fearless enthusiasm. He was also a gifted musician and an excellent drummer, as well as a talented videographer and skateboarder. His creativity, energy, and adventurous heart made him unforgettable.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Camryn MacAlarney, and his siblings, Harper Melton, Olivia Bodemuller, Ada Bodemuller, Owen Bodemuller, and Evander Bodemuller; his grandparents: Dawn Lathrop (Colie), Rick Crider (Nell), Ivy McIver, and Agnes Kirkland. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Forde "Andy" McIver, II.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at Seneca Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Reily's memory can be made to Sandifer Funeral Home, PO Box 69, Westminster, SC 29693, for a memorial plaque, to be placed in his work bay. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
