Rhonda was born November 16, 1958, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert Wyman Boyd and Mrs. Nellie Tyson Boyd. She was a remarkable woman whose love for life, family, and learning left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. A true history buff, she had a deep appreciation for the past and would often pull over during road trips just to take photos of historical markers, each one a chance to learn and share a story. She had a passion for camping and traveling with her family, always making sure to weave in something educational for her beloved son. Rhonda loved to cook and was known for her signature chicken salad and pimento cheese, dishes that brought comfort and joy to many. Whether watching the news, a crime drama, or her favorite firefighter shows, she stayed informed and entertained with equal enthusiasm. A regular at auctions, she had an eye for value, all while keeping an impeccably clean and organized home. Rhonda was generous, kind, selfless, and fiercely protective of her family. Her strength and love were matched only by her sense of humor and wisdom, often summed up in her favorite saying: "If y'all mess it up, clean it up." Her spirit, warmth, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, of 47 Years, Gary Holliday; son, Daniel "Doc" Holliday; brother, David Boyd; granddaughter, Serenity Holliday; numerous cousins, nieces, and extended family.

We knew Rhonda for a long time. We lived across the street from her in her earlier days. She was always so sweet and very kind. As she grew up she never lost her sweet spirit.
