Frances Marie Nuzzo Gillesheimer, 91, was born in Paterson, NJ on April 7, 1934 and passed away on July 20, 2025 in Manchester Township, NJ following a long illness. Frances was happily married to her beloved Edward Joseph Gillesheimer for 45 years until his passing in 2021.

Fran was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother and daughter. Family and home were fundamental to her nature and she provided a warm and gracious home with joy and passion. Fran is survived by her children Deborah Henry, Patricia Smith, Marianne Russell, Robert Dillon, and Ralph Dillon. She contributed to school and community with her many creative talents over the years.

Fran was a successful businesswoman, having founded a very successful real estate office in Lacey Township where she served as the broker of record for many years and was consistently a top sales person. Fran started in Real Estate as a single mother needing to support her family and rose from entry sales person to broker owner over her decades in Real Estate.

Upon her retirement she devoted herself to her life-long passion for sewing. She was a prolific and award-winning quilter. Her quilts have been exhibited and awarded at the prestigious American Quilter's Society Quiltweek Show in Paducah Kentucky. Over the years she exhibited and taught at the New Jersey State Quilt Guild Convention, received many awards and recognitions including Best of Show in 2001. Her greatest joy was quilting and teaching with her friends in Beachplum Quilters and with friends and neighbors in the Cedar Glen Lakes Community where she lived.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and reception at the Carmona-Bolen Funeral Home at 66 Lacey Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759 on August 6, 2025 at 10:00am. Immediately following the memorial service, Frances and Edward will be reunited and buried at Whiting Memorial Park at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests you to consider a donation to Springpoint Heros: https://springpointsl.org/foundation/donate or by sending a check payable to Springpoint Foundation, 4814 Outlook Drive, Suite 201, Wall Township NJ 07753.
