Frances Szot Kolb, age 91, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Complete Care in Holmdel. Born in Sayreville, she later raised her family in Old Bridge. Frances was a proud homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched. Her memory remains forever in our hearts. A devoted communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Old Bridge, Frances's unwavering strength, gentle guidance, and generous heart shaped her family and will continue to inspire them every day.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; her son, Lee; and her siblings, Joseph Szot, Edward Szot, and Florence Baist.
Surviving are her loving sons and their wives: Mark and Peggy, Wayne and Diane, Kirk and Stephanie, and Neal and Sonya. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Matthew and Alessandra, Andrew and Amanda, Zachary, Abigail and Nicholas Iafelice, Clayton, and Kendra; as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Summit, Wyatt, Magnolia, and Penelope.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Old Bridge. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
