Frances O'Loughlin Obituary

Frances worked in various hospitals as a Registered Nurse before becoming an Occupational Health Nurse with Digital Equipment Company, from which she retired in 1995.
After retiring, Frances and her husband, James, moved to Block Island, RI. There, she was an active member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and participated in the Ecumenical Choir on the island. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and crocheting.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis O'Loughlin, and her daughters, Sharon Gage and Theresa O'Loughlin. She is survived by her son, Michael (Michelle) O'Loughlin, son in law Keith Gage, and her grandchildren Alyssa (Mike) Gormley, Renee Bouldin, Emily O'Loughlin, James Bruce "JB" Gage, Aidan O'Loughlin, Margaret "Maggie" Gage, Sydney O'Loughlin, Kendall O'Loughlin, and Hope Gage.
Funeral services and interment at Island Cemetery in New Shoreham, RI, will be private at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to make a contribution may do so to The Parkinson's Foundation at https://www.parkinson.org/.

Peg, as the people of the Woman's club of West Deptford knew her, was such a sweet and generous woman. She was not in our club long, but while there she touched many hearts. Our club was enriched by her membership. We sent a donation in memory of her to the Parkinson's Foundation. She will be missed, but fondly remembered by many.
