Frances Irene DeLaquil Orf (née Tighe), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 102.
Beloved wife of the late Dominic C. DeLaquil and later of the late James J. Orf; cherished daughter of the late John Tighe and Electa Kay. Devoted mother of Linda K. DeLaquil, Pamela DeLaquil, Jeanne (Richard) Vigil, Christopher (Kathleen) DeLaquil, and Dominic (Tausha Murray) DeLaquil. Loving grandmother of Carrie Richardson, Gabrielle Vigil, April DeLaquil, Dominic Vigil, Paris Munn, Kendall Murray, and Luke Murray; and proud great-grandmother of nine.
Frances was a devout member of Assumption Catholic Church and honorably served her country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Her deep Catholic faith and steadfast love for God were guiding forces throughout her long life. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Frances was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Frances's name to the American Cancer Society or Cardinal's Care.
