Frances Stewardson Skiles, 98, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 14, 2025 in Weatherford.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2025 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
The Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 a.m.
Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, 500 E. Front St., Weatherford.
Frances was born April 8, 1927 in Shields, Texas, daughter of Hardy & Birdie (Barton) Stewardson. She married Sammie Earl Skiles and they spent many happy years together prior to his passing in 2002. Frances was a longtime resident of Weatherford and had a dedicated career in the banking industry. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. Frances loved her Lord and her family with all of her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sammie Earl Skiles.
Frances is survived by her son, Harold Skiles; grandson, Shane Skiles; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and church friends.
