Frances Wright, 63, of Henryville, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 14, 2025.
She was born on April 20, 1962, to Buddy Lee Desurne and Vivian (Cummins) Kron, in Indianaplois, IN who both preceded her in death. Frances dedicated her career to caring for others, working as a nurse's aide and phlebotomist at Norton's Downtown in Louisville, KY.
On June 24, 1983 in New Albany, IN she married the love of her life Danny Wright.
Frances was a true country soul who found her greatest joy in the outdoors. She loved to fish and deer hunt, and she cherished the peace of rural living. Over the years, she and her family raised a variety of animals-including foxes, turkeys, and chickens-and always kept a thriving garden.
Frances was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and her faith was a guiding light in her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Wright of Henryville, IN; her sons, Buddy Lee Wright of Lexington, KY, Danny Ray Wright Jr. of Henryville, IN, cherished grandson, Lincoln Wright; and her brother, Donald Desurne.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Bird of Louisville, KY.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville, IN.
