Frank Joseph Matott II, age 42, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July, 19 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on September 16, 1982, Frank was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend whose kindness, quiet strength, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A lifelong Floridian, Frank found joy in the natural beauty of the coast, the warmth of family gatherings, and the simple comfort of meaningful conversation.
Despite the hardships he faced, especially in his final years, Frank met life with grace and dignity. His unwavering love for his family and his deep appreciation for life's everyday moments were evident in all he did. He carried himself with humility and heart, always putting others before himself and offering support even when he was the one in need.
Frank is survived by his Mother, Vickie Crooks Reed; Son, Hunter VanPatten; siblings, Marcus Dean, Christopher Harrison, Terrell Reed, Patrick Reed, Richard Williams, and Christina Williams. Preceded in death by his late Father, Frank Joseph Matott Sr. His love for them was fierce and unconditional, and his memory will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration.
Frank Joseph Mattot II's legacy is one of resilience, love, and deep compassion. He will be missed more than words can say and remembered with love always.
