He met Karen N. Sundquist at a dog training class where he was training his Mom's puppy, Mandy, a wild Old English Sheepdog and she was training her 2-1/2 year old Sheltie named Shelby.. They became friends, started dating and then, in 1981, they became husband and wife, with both dogs present at the wedding.
They loved to go to dog shows and traveled around the US and Mexico attending them.
They both liked horses, he liked gaited horses and she liked Arabians.
In 1984, they bought their house, thanks to his Dad, Frank E. Robinson, Jr. Their son, Frank E. Robinson IV (Robbie) was born on May 2, 1990, the 4th generation only son.
Frank passed into eternal life on January 6, 2025, leaving his beloved wife, Karen, his son, Robbie, his sister, Susan who is exactly 4 years older than he, and his nephews, Ian and Zeus Robinson.
