Fred Hoffer Obituary

Fred "Derf" Hoffer, 52, of Vickery, Ohio passed away on August 5, 2025. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio on May 22, 1973. He graduated from Margaretta High School in 1992 and spent his entire life in the area he so loved.
Fred was an avid gamer and outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in the beautiful Ohio wilderness and was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Browns. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Fred is survived by his brothers Bill Hoffer and Bryan Hoffer, his sister Teresa Spencer, and step-brother Chuck Paseka. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews; Lee Hoffer, Jeff Johnson, Kirstin Spencer, Crystal Hoffer, Shannon Hoffer, Kelly Loan, and Katie Hoffer.
He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Hoffer, his father Terry Hoffer, step-mother Janet Hoffer, brother-in-law Tim Spencer, step-sister Kim Rohrbacher, nephew Dillon Spencer, nephew Josh Hoffer, and girlfriend Nichole Lee.
