Freddie Martin, Sr.
November 27, 1942 – June 27, 2025
Freddie Martin, Sr. departed his earthly life on Friday, June 27, 2025, Age 82. The Father of Freddie Martin, Jr. and Lisa Martin, Bonus children, Wilbert and Wanda.
He was born November 27, 1942, to the late Clarence and Theresa Pierre Martin, Sr. Freddie was the Brother of Ida Martin, Emelda Smith, Heidi Menendez (Lloyd) and Mary Martin of Hahnville, LA; the late Clarence Martin, Jr., Linda Martin, Catherine White, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd and Andrew Martin. He is also survived by one Uncle Alvin Pierre. Special thanks to Paquita Yvette Taylor, Jerry Taylor, and Ida Martin, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Freddie was a native of Hahnville, LA and a lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi.
Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers and members of The Stronger Hope Baptist Church, Jackson, MS and The Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Funeral Services at 10:00am on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church, 14989 River Road, Hahnville, LA 70057. Rev. Rodney L. Johnson, Host Pastor and Rev. Dr. Ronald K. Moore of Jackson, MS-Officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00am until the time of service at the above-named Church. Interment Bethlehem Cemetery on Smith Street, Hahnville, LA 70057. Final Entrusted to Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors, LLC. 605 Main Street, LaPlace, LA 70068. 985-359-1919.
