Freida Ruth (Sisco) Harrison was born June 18, 1944, to Thomas and Pearl (Rackley) Sisco. She was born and raised in Salem, Missouri. Freida graduated with the class of 1962 from Salem High School.
On October 25, 1968, Freida was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerry Randel Harrison. Freida and Jerry were blessed with two sons: Jay and Scott. Throughout the years they created a life built on faith, family, and love. They shared fifty-four years of marriage and lasting memories together before Jerry's passing in 2023.
Although she treasured her role as a devoted wife and dedicated mother, she did work outside the home in the retail industry for many years. She was a hard worker and has fond memories of working at the gas company, Fred's, and Walmart. Her title as grandma and great-grandma was a role she embraced with open arms and a loving heart, creating many lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Freida enjoyed cooking, putting together puzzles, and watching westerns. She loved to sing, especially alongside her husband and friends as they gathered in their home. They also shared their gift at church and local nursing homes. Freida attended Anutt Full Gospel Mission Church with Jerry until their health declined.
Freida entered eternal rest July 15, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri, at the age of eighty-one years. She is survived by her sons: Jay Harrison and wife Sacsha of Salem, MO and Scott Harrison and wife Melissa of Grove City, OH; sisters: Linda Stagner of Springfield, MO, Janet Whitaker of Springfield, MO, Wilma Harrison of Springfield, MO, and Joyce Brisco of Salem, MO; brother: Gordon Sisco of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Aaron Harrison, Dillon Harrison and wife Amelia, Olivia Watt, and Owen Harrison; several great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her loving husband: Jerry Harrison; parents: Thomas and Pearl Sisco; sister: Helen Oxendine; also by several loved brothers and sisters-in-law.
Freida was kind, giving, gentle, and selfless, and loved unconditionally. Her legacy will live on in those who knew and loved her.
