Gaetan "LB" Valentin, the son of Marie Jean and the late Mario Valentin, was born on June 15th, 1990, in Newark, New Jersey. He attended the schools of Essex County and graduated with his high school diploma from Orange High School. Gaetan was known for his infectious laughter and ability to brighten up any room he entered. His sense of humor and love for life were evident in everything he did.
Alongside his warm personality, Gaetan's drive to establish his own construction business and restaurant was a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and hunger for success. One of his greatest joys was traveling and exploring new places. His love for shopping also knew no bounds; he was always on the hunt for the latest fashion trends and sneakers.
But above all, Gaetan's love for his family was unmatched. His role as an uncle to Ethan and a brother to Stacey was filled with boundless love and affection.The bond with his mother, Marie, was unbreakable, and they shared a special connection that could never be replaced. His family and friends also meant everything to him, and he made sure to cherish every moment spent with them.
The loss of Gaetan will undoubtedly be deeply felt by his family and friends as they navigate this difficult time. However, his legacy will endure through laughter, love, and stories shared by those he touched. While his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of all touched by his light.
He was predeceased by his father, Mario Valentin, and uncles, Jean E Pierre and Roderick Dumas. He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory: his mother, Marie Jean; sister, Stacey Valentin; and nephew, Ethan McCubbin.He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Solange, Nicole, Cecile, Yvette, Tony, Carlo, and Eddy, as well as many cherished cousins and close friends.
Visitng will be held on Friday May 3, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with the Funeal Services at 11:00 AM, at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover at 1:00 PM.
