Garth H. Carrell, age 62 of Otisville, died Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Henry Ford - Grand Blanc. A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 11AM until the time of his service on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the funeral home. There will be a 2PM luncheon at the Davison Eagles, following his service. Due to allergy to flowers, the family has requested that there be no flowers present for his service.
Garth was born in Flint, MI on October 1, 1962 to Ray and Dorla Carrell.
He was known for his sense of humor; he brought laughter into the room wherever he was. He was also known for his work ethic and enjoyed spending time in his garage and tinkering on things. He could fix anything. Garth was a big NASCAR fan and loved watching Michigan football and the Detroit Lions, even during the bad years.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly; children: Scott Carrell and Shayna (Tyler) Henson; grandchildren: Coralyn and Ryan; siblings: Jeff (Debbie) Carrell, Nan Owens, and Amy Carrell-Page; several nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Rick Thibault.
