Gary Alan Harper, age 68 of Montgomery, LA, died Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Gary was born on February 7, 1956 in Saline, LA. He was the youngest of 7 children born to Roy Harper and Cecile Willis Harper,
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Cecile Willis Harper; brothers, Leonard Harper and Roy K. Harper; and a sister Lyvonnie Pearce.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Harper; grandchildren, Jadine Bonnette and Shane Bonnette; great granddaughter, Kinsley Bonnette all from Campti, LA; brother, James Harper (Leola) from Ruston, LA; sisters, Donna Harper of Winnfield, LA and Mary Trichel (Dewey) of Natchitoches, LA; sister in law, Murl Harper from Bernice, LA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery in Saline, LA.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of service on August 21st at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Anthony Trichel, Dewayne Trichel, Kevin Trichel, Vincent Trichel, John D. Wynn, Jr., and John Wesley Wynn.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the Courtyard of Natchitoches and Hospice of Natchitoches for their exceptional care.
