Gary Wayne Sirois, age 77, a resident of Utica, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at his residence.
Gary was born the son of Harry and Wuanetta (Adams) Richardson Sirois on January 11, 1948, in Utica, Missouri. Gary was united in marriage to Nancy Gilgour on May 10, 1975, in Breckenridge, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Gary started working for the Missouri Department of Transportation as part of the Maintenance crew in 1970. He was there until he retired in 2000. Gary loved to travel with his family. He enjoyed going to the post office to catch up on the latest gossip around Utica.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy of the home; one daughter, Penny Rex and husband Kevin, of Utica, Missouri; his pride and joy granddaughter, Alexis Rex of Utica, Missouri; one brother, George Richardson of Gladstone, Missouri; one sister, Virginia Altes of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Bob and Mable Trosper; his parents Harry and Wuanetta Sirois; one sister, Donna Sliwka; two brothers, Ralph Richardson and Art Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Utica Cemetery, Utica, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neurofibromatosis Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
