George Gary Brozack, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, at the age of 74. Born on August 31, 1950, in Irwin, Pennsylvania, George's warm spirit and resilient nature left a lasting mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
George's life was one of dedication and hard work, traits that he carried into his professional life. For three decades, he served the Wayne County Road Commission with unwavering commitment. Starting his career laying asphalt, George's tenacity and skill saw him rise through the ranks to become second in charge as a foreman. His work was not just a job but a testament to his enduring support for his family and community.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, George's passions were rooted in the simplicity of life. He cherished being surrounded by his loved ones, maintaining lifelong friendships with many he met during his high school years. His home in Wayne was his haven, a place where laughter and love were always in abundance. George was a familiar face at local events, with a particular fondness for the car cruise in downtown Wayne, which he attended with enthusiasm.
George's presence was a source of strength and joy to his family. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Brandon Brozack and his daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Fairbanks; his sister, Janice Germann; his stepdaughter, Shawna (Ronald) Cox; his grandsons, Justin and Evan Cox; and many nieces and nephews. His legacy of courage, humor, and love continues through them. He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Ruth Elizabeth Brozack; his father, George Thomas Brozack; his beloved wife, Jane Ellen Brozack; and his stepsisters, Lorena Aldrich and Eileen Malazich.
Those who knew George will recall his robust and resilient spirit, his ability to find humor in the everyday, and his talent for singing and playfully crafting new lyrics to familiar songs. His courage in the face of life's challenges was an inspiration, and his love for his family and friends was boundless.
George Brozack's life was a testament to the qualities that define the best of us: courage, humor, and love. As we remember him, we celebrate the legacy of a man who not only brought joy and laughter into our lives but also showed us the meaning of strength and devotion. George's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched, and his light will continue to shine brightly in the stories and memories shared by friends and family alike.
