Ruth Marie Lane, of Greenfield Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 96 years old.
Ruth was born February 19th, 1929, in Ontario Wisconsin to Archie and Eugenia (nee Burdick) Kidd.
Ruth was united in marriage to Raymond "Ray" Lane on September 16, 1961, in Dubuque, IA.
Ruth was a dedicated and hardworking employee in the film and lithographics industry.
She enjoyed doing puzzles.
She was a member of local 277 for 65 years.
She especially loved all of her grandkids dearly.
Ruth is survived by her sons; Dale (Vikki) Bass, Jerry (Jill) Bass, James Bass, and
Michael (Alexandra) Lane; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond; daughter, Kathryn; as well as brothers and sisters.
Funeral service for Ruth will be held Wednesday August 13, 2025
Family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 - 1:00 P.M.
Ruth's interment will be held Thursday August 14, at 10:00am at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Clement Manor for their kindness and care for Ruth for many years.
A special thank you to her nurses, Crystal and La Quisha, social worker Susan and Jennifer from Allay Hospice.
