George Miller Obituary
George S. Miller, 86, of Avon, passed away on July 3, 2025. He was born on April 22, 1939 in Princeton, Indiana to the late Arthur Miller and Mary (Soller) Miller. George received his Master's degree in Microbiology, and later worked as a biologist for many years. He enjoyed growing Orchids, was an avid all around sports fan and had a deep bond with his West Highland White Terrier named Finnegan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Following the completion of visitation, burial will conclude at St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton, Indiana. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Miller; son, George Miller Jr.; daughter, Kathy Miller. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Knights of Columbus Charities.
