John Beltz
Yesterday
Karen, the John Beltz family extends our deepest condolences and sympathy to you and Family after learning of George´s passing. Steve Morrison notified me today. George used to join the Delta Chi´s at our OSU Homecoming Golf event in Stillwater, OKlahoma. He was always great to be around and smiling, full of joy and soft spoken. I too am from the POHI Class of 1970 and I remember you and George from those days of HS. George, Buddy Stone, Steve Morrison and I, along with others played many games of sand lot baseball and pickup basketball games in high school and I remember so clearly how even tempered George always was!! We´ve lost too many of our contemporaries now. Sad, but true. Our prayers are with you and yours this day and in the days to come.
Sincerely,
John & Kathy Beltz

Karen,
I, with many others send condolences with George's passing.
He was a leader and a winner in everything he set out to do. I'm sure your children share those values.
I first knew George when we were in kindergarten at First Lutheran School, 1957-1958. Regardless of living in different parts of town different schools, different Jr. High Schools,
nothing really changed about George
from when we first knew each other.
And his dad, always a friendly face at Safeway, either on W. Grand or Pioneer Plaza on 14th.
I last saw George at our 40th Reunion in 2010. He still looked the same, as affable, down to earth, really no difference from when we graduated in 1970. Our 55th is this September and his presence will be sorely missed.
You, your children, your grand children have lost a good man and great friend. Anyone who had been around George are better off for having known him.
Sincerely,
Edward Gay

Karen, prayers for you and the family. I cherish the old memories and the few times I got to spend time with him over the years. His laugh and voice will stay with me.
Love and hugs,
Steve Morrison

George was a truthful, faithful, dedicated family man. He loved and was devoted to his children; nothing required too much effort, expense or time where family was concerned. He was always hands on at family gatherings in his thoughtful, meticulous way. He was respected and trusted by his co owners and employees in his business. We are thankful for his being a profound presence in our lives!
