Gerald Dean Smith, age 81, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on August 5, 2025.

He was born on July 3, 1944, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Cleo and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Casey) Smith. Gerald proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Following his military service, he spent over 30 years as a dedicated truck driver.

A true RV enthusiast, Gerald and Sue spent eighteen years traveling the country-hiking, meeting new friends, and enjoying the great outdoors. At home, Gerald enjoyed gardening and treasured time spent with his beloved family.
